Back from Newcastle – hydrodynamic testing finished! Now to start the aerodynamic work. Good sponsor news yesterday – Cadbury are going to supply 600 bars of chocolate for the crossing, Peli Products are giving us waterproof storage cases, head torches and hand torches, and Crewsaver will be helping with our lifejackets. Off to Manchester this morning for next-steps meeting with Henri Lloyd!

At Newcastle University to use their towing tank for the last time. By the end of tomorrow, we’ll know the final resistance curve of our hull, and the drag effects of rudder angles and drivetrain(s). Lion Eyes TV join us at the tank tomorrow for more documentary filming!
