Mike knows Matt Franey, the owner of the business, through incredible work that FP Creative have done for Bentley Motors over the last few years. When Mike asked Matt whether he’d be up for helping with producing the promotional material for the project, his response was overwhelmingly enthusiastic and positive. Matt’s team has already produced some stunning material for us, and a number of exciting projects are in the pipeline. MD Peter Cameron agreed to design and build the Project Torpedalo website for free at the end of 2009. By the end of January 2010, the site was designed, coded, tested and ready to be launched. Global Beach will be supporting the project through its entirety by updating the core functions of the website and adding interesting content as the design of the boat progresses. Through clever linking to our Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr accounts the site is quickly becoming the central hub of the project, where fans, supporters and sponsors can follow our progress.

Fade2 are an experienced team of motion graphic designers and animators producing creative high impact visual content for live events, broadcast, installations, product launches and much more. Their animators bring creative thinking and design for a wide ranging, worldwide client base. From concept through to realisation they create stunning and entertaining results that fulfil every brief. Through relationships with leading production companies and advertising agencies, both in the UK and worldwide, Fade2 create content for many of the world’s top brands, including Visa, Microsoft, Vodafone, Toyota and McDonalds.
We were introduced to Tarquin Stockwell at Fade2 by our friends at FP Creative when we started searching for an animation team to produce a bold, eye-catching and entertaining promotional film for the project. Fade2 jumped at the chance to be involved, and then proceeded to go way beyond our expectations. The finished film is stunning, and is a fantastic demonstration of what Fade2 are capable of. Flourish create memorable occasions designed to communicate brands, products or services. These occasions include launches, live events, exhibitions, internal comms, branded environments and sponsorship activation programs. Clients include T-Mobile, HTC, Castrol, Monarch and Google. They are an independent, creatively-driven brand experience agency. Rather than starting with the venue, the event or the technology they start by matching the audience and the message to the idea, and in doing so they create memorable experiences.
Flourish have also created some of Bentley’s most recent media, particularly to support the launch of the new Continental GT. It was through this work that we got to know Guy Tremlett, Creative Director for Flourish. When we asked whether Flourish might be interested in creating a second promotional film for the project, to go with the animation from Fade2, Guy was happy to help. Flourish took some ideas that we sketched out and ran with them, creating and sourcing emotive imagery and footage to highlight the dangerous and frightening aspects of our ocean voyage. The awesome finished film is available in the “Videos” section of this website, or on our YouTube channel.

Goose hasn’t been around long – around five years now. But the team who are Goose have been. The combined careers of the founding Directors add up to some 75 years in the events industry. They have worked with clients in many industry sectors and together they deliver the essential skills and experience across every aspect of event creation and delivery. Whether an event has 50 or 5000 delegates, their management, creative and technical skills and services encompass all aspects of event delivery.
With a busy schedule of live events planned for 2011, it was important for us to secure a sponsor that could provide us with a customised exhibition stand. Goose has an established reputation of designing and creating first-class event materials, and we were delighted when they agreed to supply us with an L-shaped, 5m x 3m display stand. Graphics for the stand have been designed by FP Creative, and the display incorporates a 23” screen for showing our promotional films. The stand will go a very long way to help us promote the project in an exciting, eye-catching and professional way, and we’re so grateful to Goose for providing it.
